Almighty Split — Phase 1A

Core split functionality. Creating groups, logging expenses, tracking balances. The settlement algorithm is written and tested. The pattern learning engine is next.

Target: closed beta by end of Q1 2025.

SHADOWSTATE — Asset Pipeline v2

Rebuilding the asset pipeline for better consistency. The current pipeline works, but the style variance is too high. Working on a standardization pass for all 135+ existing assets before generating new ones.

Just shipped. The goal was a place for writing and a professional record that wasn't LinkedIn. Built it in a day with the same AI-first workflow I use for everything else.

Learning

Godot 4 / C# — Deepening fluency with Godot's scene system and the C# / GDScript split. The right tool for the right job inside one engine is an interesting design problem.

Plaid API — Working through the edge cases in the Plaid Link flow for Almighty Platform. Bank connectivity is messier than the docs suggest.

The Mom Test — Rob Fitzpatrick. Re-read. Still the best book on customer conversations.

Shogun — Clavell. Historical systems thinking disguised as fiction.

Listening

Turnstile — GLOW ON. When I need to write specs at 11pm, this is the answer.

The Menzingers — After the Party. For when the specs are done and I need to feel something.
